The Red Door

At the bend in Radnor-Chester Road, a small, white house hides behind a fence. A few years ago it had a small addition built near the road which featured a bright red door. Though it appears as if it sits along a country road, it is only a few feet away from one of the busiest streets in the township.
I sat on a stone wall across the street in early fall to catch a glimpse of this charming home. Red and yellow reflections were picked up in the windows from parked cars in the driveway, The house, which faces east, is shrouded in trees and dappled throughout the day with sunlight.
