The Musicians

In the early ’80s I painted many bold garphic paintings using flat colors. Because I had a large studio, the paintings themselves were very large, sometimes ranging to 7 feet in scale.

The “musicians” were actually firemen i found in an old photo (except for the celloist). I loved their expressions and their distinctly different facial features.
